Kyndle & Drew – WOWZA

Please meet our good friends, Kyndle and Drew.  We share the exact same wedding anniversary (day and year). We are in a Sunday School class together at our church. And our kids are friends. I had SO much fun with this couple as they hammed it up in front of the camera and pretty much just let me push and pose and poke and move them however which way I wanted. Those are the best kind of clients, you know. 🙂 Would you believe these two have two little ones of their own and have a third on the way? Drew and Kyndle, you guys were so much fun to work with and photograph and holy cow… you are just way too easy on the eyes. I had no intention of editing these tonight, but I couldn’t stop looking at these and processing them so I could see the final product of each shot. If you like them even a fraction of how much I am in love with them, then I will be happy. 🙂 Blessings to you guys! See you in a couple of days.

Hello Aubrey….

Seriously? I mean seriously? How is it possible for a less than 6 week old baby to look THIS jaw-dropping gorgeous. I can’t get enough of these pictures. I mean it. Aubrey was a complete joy to work with (as if she had a choice in the matter, though). I have seen in two successive newborn sessions that the sound of my camera shutter is extremely fascinating to these little ones. I was nearly propositioned by one set of parents to come and “shoot” again, say at around 3am?? 🙂 Julie and Eric, you guys have a heart breaker on your hands… I wish you blessings and the best for the years to come with this little princess.

Meet Camden…

Matt and Christi are dear friends from church… You may remember Christi’s ridiculously hot preggo pics several weeks back (yup, she’s the one in the header on this blog). Well, their little bundle of joy has arrived and here he is! Also, I just had to include some details shots of his nursery… Christi really outdid herself here. Holy cow! As for Camden…. the kiddo has a thing for cameras. Whenever I would start shooting continuously, he would immediately stop crying and follow the sound of my camera clicking. It was so cute. I think Matt and Christi were seriously considering dropping some serious $$ and hiring me and my camera for night duty. 🙂

I just have a thing for baby feet…. I mean LOOK at them!

Baby on the way….

I had the pleasure of shooting with Julie and Eric last week….. they are expecting their first, a baby girl. I can’t state enough, or with enough emotion, how much I L O V E shooting maternity photos… and I really fell in love with some of these! Congrats Julie and Eric! Doesn’t she look so radiant?? Love it!

Maryn is ONE!!

Sweet little Miss Maryn is one year old now! I got to spend some time one morning with her family to celebrate. Phoenix’s new metro system, the Light Rail, recently opened so we thought it would be fun to go shoot on and off the trains.

I got to go do a really fun shoot in Old Town Scottsdale the other night…. My friends Christi and Matt are expecting their first baby in a month or less. I love doing belly pics. When we set up a time to shoot Lauren’s senior pictures, we decided to tack on a family shoot as well. And so glad we did… the venue was to die for, and the light simply divine. The two crazy dogs on the other hand…. well, nevermind. Anyhow, it was such a pleasure to meet and work with the Rathbuns… they were up for anything, hay bale and all, and just as kind and easy going as can be. Doesn’t get much better than that, folks!

julie & eric | just because

I get all the pretty ones. 🙂

Seriously…. you would think that somehow I must have some kind of “pretty people” radar going on. What can I say, they flock to me. 🙂 Eric and Julie are no exception, as you can see. Eric and my husband work together and he is also the brother of the groom of the last wedding I shot. Julie is just stunningly gorgeous. Period. And we all met at the crack of dawn in Old Town Scottsdale for a fun “just because” shoot this weekend. Julie and Eric, you guys were a blast to work with! Thanks for braving the morning hours to capture the best light and least amount of people!
